Description: Flame Retardant Lydorflam 5005 Deion Lydorflam 5005 is an eco friendly polyolefin flame retardant based on phosphorus and nitrogen. It contains acid source, gas source, carbon source, taking carbon and expansion mechanism to play flame retarding function. Characteristics Polyolefin processed by Lydorflam 5005 is free of halogen and heavy metal elements. Finished products treated by Lydorflam 5005 has properties of small density and low fume etc. Typical Applications It is widely applied to polypropylene(PP): homopolymerization PP and copolymerization PP. Recommended Dosage Resin Content Lydorflam 5005 (%) Flammability Homopolymerization PP 28 ~ 30 V0 (1.6mm) Copolymerization PP 30 ~ 32 V0 (1.6mm) Precautions Due to Lydroflam 5005 has a small volume density, dispersing property of flame retardant plays key role in the process of manufacturing and flame retardation, to get the optimum effect, it is recommended to add appropriate dispersant in the formulation to improve disperse and process abilities. As the small volume density of flame retardant, suitable resins with melt flow index can have effective melted-cladding to flame retardants, it is recommended to choose resin with high melt flow index as substrate. Flame retardant works through carbon and expansion mechanism, flame retardant performance would be affected by all inorganic mineral filling which destroyed flame retardant mechanism. Choose a reasonable processing temperature, avoid being decomposed in condition of high temperature. The recommended processing temperature is 180~190℃, remove screen mesh from die head. Packaging and Storage 25Kg/Bag. Transported as general chemicals. Stored in a cool dry and well ventilated area, prevent from exposure to sunshine.
